Impermanent floral beauty in Scottish Heather

Explore existence and putrescence with poet Grant Smith
Impermanent floral beauty in Scottish Heather

Grant Smith - A young man from the foothills of the Cairngorms, Scotland. A soul who would have been illiterate earlier centuries. With the gift of public education in Aberdeenshire, his historic destiny has been alleviated in the contemporary age. This strange brain has been bled out onto the page. Yet it is still not quite an anatomical representation. My doctor would be disappointed. For it is still not quite right. Will it ever truly be me? You, me, I. Will keep trying. - G.W. Smith

Following the readings there will be a Q&A. Refreshments will be served and there will be a signing. The event is free, places are limited and we ask that you buy a 3€ voucher, redeemable at the event.

Book description

How do I sell a piece of my heart?....

A bouquet of poetry, I like this image because it explains the book beautifully, if the bouquet had roses, lilacs, tulips, and orchids circled by purple heather. In turn, nestled among a bed of weeds. In turn, this canvas of life colour began to rot, slowly. Surely.

Rot makes you appreciate the impermanence of beauty.

This is the image. A floral umbrella for every type of weather. Rain or sunrays, the roar of the wind or no wind at all?

You can’t stop crying or has life left you stunned in an apathetic daze?

I cover you with my thoughts that will bring comfort or catharsis.

Don’t worry, we have flavours for all types of customers in this cryptic collection.
