Is my Business your Business? How sustainable are we?
Climate Change – Global Warming – Climate Breakdown… Have the politicians switched off, are we switching off too? Has even Greta Thunberg moved on to more pressing issues? And yet, it seems we have already passed 1.5C warming, and it is still getting worse… is it time for us all to take real action?
The clock is ticking. We need to ACT NOW on our climate crisis. Humanity is at risk. When the whole world is talking about creating a more sustainable, equitable and conscious way of living, has this changed the way we consume?
Our daily lives are surrounded by all sorts of choices. From the food we eat, to the clothes we wear. We live in an era where we look everything up, we are not shy to express our views, we ask questions. We trust but verify. We want our answers, and we want them fast. We need to poke our nose into someone’s business to scratch a bit beyond the surface if we want to do the right thing. Can we? Do We? How?
In this second edition of “Who Said your Business is none of our Business” Amber Wan updates her view of how hundreds of thousands of small and medium-sized businesses around the world are navigating through this change in our expectations. Will they be the key to helping us move the needle, and start to save the world?
Amber Wan - Amber Wan is (and will always be) an avid shopper, a villager of planet earth, and a generalist. Curiosity made her an entrepreneur and the founder of Baba Yaga Consultancy.
