Secret Kingdoms is delighted to welcome back renowned early years educator Carol Read to discuss her first children’s picturebook - “Something is stuck in my Tummy” at an event for parents, carers, educators and anyone interested in the role of storytelling in young children’s overall development and language education.

Carol has many years’ experience as a teacher, teacher trainer, academic manager and educational consultant, specializing in early years and English language education. Carol is also a former President of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL) and an award-winning author of many coursebooks, methodology titles and materials for pre-school and primary children. The evening will start with an interview, followed by a reading of “Something is stuck in my tummy” and a Q&A. Refreshments will be served and there will be a book signing. Whilst the event is free, places are limited and we do ask that you buy a 3€ voucher, redeemable at the event.
